The Department of Pediatrics, SRM MCH & RC, in association with IAP Chengalpattu branch and NNF Tamil Nadu organized Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Workshop on 10th June 2022. A total of 43 delegates registered for the workshop. A majority participants were Pediatric postgraduate students from SRM MCH & RC, ThanjavurMC, MelmaruvathurMC, BalajiMC, Stanley MC, KilpaukMC and Institute of Child Health. Some Neonatology fellowship students and a few obstetric PG, staff nurse and practitioners attended the workshop.

Dr. Prakash A, SRIHER, State Academic Coordinator for IAP-NNF NRP First Golden Minute Project was the lead faculty for the workshop. Dr. Ashok C from SRM MCH & RC was the course coordinator. Other faculties were Dr. RabindranChandran from SRIHER, Dr. SwathiPadankatti from SMF, Dr. PadminiPriya from Tirupathi Medical College, Dr. Thambarasi T from VHS hospitals and Dr. Pilli Govardhan from MGM hospital.

The workshop started at 8:00 am in Medical Simulation Centre, Fourth Floor. The inauguration was at 11:00 am. Respected Dean Dr. Sundaram A, Medical Superintendent Dr. Balamurugan R, HoDPaediatrics& President IAP Chengalpattu Dr. SubashS and HoDSimulation Centre Dr.Rachula Daniel graced the inauguration function.
