About Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is a branch of rehabilitation that helps people work on cognitive, physical, social, and motor skills to improve physical, mental and social wellbeing. Occupational therapists have a holistic perspective, and the person is an integral part of the team. Department is well equipped with both inpatient and outpatient facilities. The goal is to improve everyday skills which allow people to become more independent and participate in a wide range of activities. Conditions which we treat include trauma, congenital, paediatric, orthopaedic, neurologic, geriatric and mental health problems. Interventions are focused on helping clients with disabilities to participate independently in society, helping people recovering from injury to regain skills and return to work, and providing support for older adults.
