Thiru. Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar is the founder Chancellor of the SRM Group of Institutions. He is Member of Parliament of the seventeenth Lok Sabha, elected from the Perambalur Constituency of Tamil Nadu State. He is also the member of the standing committees on Human Resource Development, Defense and Information Technology. A multi faceted leader who has envisioned, created and contributed in health services, education, information technology, hospitality fields.

Sathya is the Founder and Chairman of SRM Technologies which he started in 1998. He is also the Pro-Chancellor of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Chennai which is amongst the top private educational institutions in India.

A dynamic entrepreneur, he lives by his motto “Aim big, do big, achieve big.” This governs his actions and enables him to excel in all his ventures. He has spearheaded the expansion of SRM’s footprint in diverse verticals like Education (Primary, Secondary, Higher education and Online), Media (Print and Television), Healthcare, Construction and Manufacturing apart from Information Technology.

Dr. Sathyanarayanan obtained his Bachelors in Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and his Master of Science from Northeastern University in the USA. He holds a doctoral degree from Southern Cross University, Sydney, Australia.
