• The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology was started in the year 2005 which specializes in providing basic and advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology care. Since then it has grown into one of the well-established department of the institute.
• The department offers comprehensive obstetric & gynecological care besides special clinics like Infertility, postnatal and family welfare clinics, cancer screening clinics, high risk pregnancy and well woman clinic services.
• The department also actively participates in providing community health services in association with NGO’s in rural areas of kancheepuram distirct.
• We provides 24- hrs emergency care and delivery system manned with experienced, committed team of obstetricians ,round the clock functioning operation theatres with the best facilities makes our department, one of the best in health care delivery for women.
• The gynaecological units provide specialised care as per their specialities which include general gynaecological procedures, minimally invasive surgeries (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic), surgeries for malignancies, prolapse and development anomalies of the female genital tract.
