A MBBS student team from SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre achieved the First Runner-Up position at ANVESHAN 2025 – Student Research and Innovation Competition, organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The team comprised Ms. Shruthi Rajaram (4th Year MBBS), Ms. Nathasha Noronha (3rd Year MBBS), Mr. Yash Vardhan Pansari (3rd Year MBBS), and Ms. Varshini Vasan (4th Year MBBS). The competition was held on 17th and 18th December 2025, with the South Zonal Level hosted by VIT-AP University.
Competing under the Health Sciences domain, the team presented their research project titled “AI-assisted Rapid Mobile Response Unit.” The project stood out for its strong research design, innovative approach, and clear practical relevance in healthcare delivery.
Following rigorous evaluation by expert panels and competitive presentations from institutions across the South Zone, the team secured the First Runner-Up position at the zonal level.
With this achievement, the team has qualified to represent SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre at the International Level of ANVESHAN 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Himachal Pradesh.
