The Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, marked a strong academic presence at the MVCON International Conference held from 20th to 22nd March 2026 at Great Ceremonies by GRT Hotel, T. Nagar, Chennai.

Postgraduate students actively contributed to the conference through poster presentations across multiple sessions. Participants included Ms. Monisha, Ms. Nithya Sree M.G, Ms. Sangita Vani, Ms. Upanya, Ms. Nithya Shree M, Ms. Selvadharshini, and Ms. Annliya, who presented their research work and engaged in scholarly discussions with peers and experts.

The conference also featured a nutrition panel discussion attended by undergraduate students, offering valuable insights into emerging trends and developments in the field of nutrition.

Adding to the department’s accomplishments, Mr. Vignesh and Ms. Nithya Sree M.G represented SRM Medical College in the quiz competition, demonstrating strong academic knowledge and enthusiasm.
