The inauguration of the CME preceded the Scientific program.  Dr. Jaison Jacob John, Professor & Head, Dept of Pathology, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sandhya Sundaram, President TNPCIAPM delivered the special address. Prof. Dr. A Sundaram, Dean, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre delivered the inaugural address. Prof. Dr. Lt. Col. A Ravikumar, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Medical & Health Sciences) delivered the Presidential address. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. G. Shivashekar, Professor of Pathology, SRM MCH.

The feedback from participants (faculty and residents) on the CME program was overwhelmingly positive and they felt it was a much-needed update on recent advances in salivary gland tumours with many take-home messages for clinicians and pathologists that can be implemented in routine practice as well as an academic treat for Post-graduates by eminent experts in the field.
