Dr. Kala Samayan, Professor and Head, Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, participated in the 2nd Asian Conference on Innovative Therapies for Diabetes Management, held from 9th to 11th December 2025 in Singapore. The international conference brought together researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals from across Asia to discuss emerging approaches and innovations in diabetes care.

Dr. Kala Samayan presented two scientific research papers that highlighted the interdisciplinary relevance of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology in the comprehensive management of diabetes. Her presentations emphasised the need for collaborative healthcare models and showcased how allied health sciences contribute to improving patient outcomes in diabetes-related care.
