The Department of Community Medicine organised a community medical camp on 1st January 2025 at Anathamangalam, sponsored by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST). The initiative aimed to improve access to basic healthcare services and promote preventive health awareness among the local population.
A total of 107 outpatients were examined during the camp. Patients received primary medical care, basic treatment, and personalised health guidance from the medical team. Fifteen individuals who required further investigation and specialised care were identified and issued yellow referral cards, enabling them to receive free treatment at SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre.
