The Division of Medical Research, SRMMCHRC, achieved a proud milestone at CSICON 2025, with its faculty and researchers securing the top three positions in the E-Poster category.

Ms. Varshini PV, Research Scholar, was awarded First Position for her paper titled Decoding Prognostic Patterns of Exosomal microRNAs in Acute Myocardial Infarction. Her work highlighted emerging molecular markers with potential clinical relevance in cardiac care.

Ms. Rithika Thangaraju, Project Assistant, secured Second Position for her presentation titled Harnessing the Anti-Fibrotic Power of the Unani Majūsī Formula in Cardiac Fibrosis: A Combinatorial Approach, which explored integrative therapeutic strategies in cardiovascular fibrosis.

Third Position was awarded to Dr. Shiny PJ, Assistant Professor, for her research titled Identification of Cardiovascular-Associated Targets of Calendula officinalis Phytocompounds Using Network Biology Approaches Including Protein Interaction and Disease Association Analyses, emphasising computational and network-based insights into herbal cardioprotective compounds.

This achievement reflects the Division’s strong commitment to high-quality research, interdisciplinary innovation, and meaningful contributions to cardiovascular science. The institution congratulates the awardees and wishes them continued success in their academic and research endeavours.
