The much-anticipated HYGIEA 2025, SRM Medical College’s prestigious inter-medical college sports fest, commenced its journey with a spectacular Logo and Jersey Reveal Ceremony on 4th June 2025. Hosted at the SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, the event set an electrifying tone for the sports fest scheduled to take place on 9th, 10th, and 11th June 2025.
Organised with precision and passion by The Agasthiyans Council, Batch of 2022, the reveal ceremony served as the official prelude to Hygiea 2025. The event opened with the unveiling of the official Hygiea 2025 logo, a dynamic symbol representing strength, passion, and resilience—core values that define the spirit of the fest. As the logo was revealed, the venue resounded with cheers and applause, capturing the growing excitement surrounding the games.
The highlight of the evening continued with a vibrant flashmob performance by an enthusiastic group of students, followed by an elegant classical dance performance by a talented MBBS student. These cultural showcases beautifully blended the spirit of tradition and modern energy, reflecting the essence of Hygiea —a celebration of both athleticism and cultural vibrancy.
The newly designed jerseys, embodying unity and institutional pride, were officially handed over to the captains of the SRM Medical College sports teams. This symbolic gesture reflected leadership, camaraderie, and months of dedication put forth by the athletes. The moment resonated deeply with the teams, as the jerseys now stand as powerful tokens of hard work, teamwork, and the anticipation of memorable victories ahead.
