Department of Microbiology conducted a CME on “COVID-19 Pandemic and Beyond” by Dr. Priya Abraham, Director, National Institute of Virology (NIV) – Pune as the guest speaker in the Medical College auditorium presided by the Dean (Medical) today (4th July 2022). 300 participants covering Faculties, Postgraduates and Undergraduates attended the programme. The topic was well covered how the country worked towards handling the pandemic and the future research prospects in vaccines.
