Department of Neurology SRM Medical College and Research centre conducted a guest lecture  on Women with Epilepsy on 7 th July 2022.The programme was inaugurated by our Dean Prof.Sundaram, Pro Vice Chancellor  Professor Lt Colonel Ravikumar delivered a keynote address and  our MS Prof. Balamurugan  gave his felicitations.The session was chaired by Prof.Vijaya the Director of the Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Egmore and Prof.V.Chandramouleeswaran senior  Professor of Neurology in Madras Institute of Neurology  and Madras Medical College.Guest lecture was given by Prof.K.Bhanu retired Director of Madras Institute of Neurology and currently Director of Neurosciences in Mehta Hospital,Chennai.

Professors, Assistant professors,postgraduates from various departments and Undergraduate students attended the meeting.The meetings  was attended by more than 150 delegates and there was a detailed discussion about the current trends in management of Epilepsy in women went on for more than an hour with the students learning a lot of that specialised topic.the programme ended with the National Anthem.
