Ms. Preethy S, full-time Ph.D. scholar from the Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (DASLP), SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, has secured First Place in the Language Category at DISHACON 2025 organised by AIIMS, New Delhi.

The conference brought together distinguished clinicians, researchers, and academicians from across the country to present and deliberate on emerging advancements in speech and hearing sciences.

Ms. Preethy’s research presentation was guided by Dr. Nitin M. Nagarkar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Medical & Health Sciences, and supported by Dr. Kala Samayan, HOD (i/c), DASLP. Her work was commended for its scientific depth, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field of language sciences.
