Faculty members of SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre achieved academic recognition at the 2nd National Conference on Recent Advances in Assessment and Management of Vestibular Disorders, held on 23rd and 24th October 2025 at the School of Rehabilitation and Behavioural Sciences, Vinayaka Missions University, Puducherry.

Mr. T. Kumaran, Associate Professor, Department of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, presented an oral paper titled “Effect of Mucosal Chronic Otitis Media on Bone-Conducted Cervical and Ocular VEMP” under the guidance of Dr. S. Selvarajan, Professor, Department of ENT, SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre.

The presentation was awarded the Best Paper Award in the oral presentation category, highlighting the institution’s commitment to quality research and academic excellence in audiology and vestibular sciences.
