I am delighted to inform regarding the successful delivery of the triplets in our hospital. Mrs Nirmala Roy , a 23 year old female, IP no. 2258290, Primigravida, conceived by IVF conception with DCTA triplets. She had attended our antenatal OPD under OG – III for the first time at 21st week of gestation. She was counselled by us as well as the Neonatologist. All routine antenatal check-ups were done. Elective section was planned at 33 weeks according to protocol after consultation with Neonatologist as well as Anaesthesiologist. After getting anaesthetic approval and reserving adequate blood, we proceeded with Elective LSCS on 23/9/22. The surgery was uneventful. Three preterm female babies were delivered weighing 1.55 kg, 1.505 kg and 1.460 kg respectively. All babies cried at birth with good APGAR scores and admitted to NICU for preterm care. Mother’s condition is stable and has been shifted to Labour ward ICU for post-operative care.
