
A mega lifesaving medical Workshop on *Emergency Life Support* was conducted on 8th August 2022, at SRM medical College Hospital & Research Institute as per the vision and under the guidence of Pro Vice Chancellor A. Ravikumar, with the support of Additional Director Mrs Mythili, Dean Dr. Sundaram, MS Dr. Balamurugan, Vice principal Dr. Leela and Dr. Thangaraj farmer MS.
Hands on training on about 10 important life saving skills were given to 203 Emergency doctors from Tamil Nadu, Puduchery, Andrapradesh and Karnataka.

Director had jointly conducted the workshop very effectively.
Theme of the conference was to EDUCATE THE BASICS IN EM to the fresherS in the field of Emergency medicine.
This workshop was followed by EM Conclave conference on on 9th August 2022,at TP Ganesan auditorium mini hall 2 and 271 doctors had participated. Almost all the Emergency departments HODs from various major reputed hospitals at Chennai City have joined the event to share their Skills and knowledge to the Conference delegates. Dean Dr. Sundaram had inaugrated the conference, Additional registrar Dr. Mythili Medical Superintendent Dr.. Balamurugan, Dr..Thangaraj, Head of the department of Forensic Medicine, Dr. V. P. Chandrasekaran , Advisor Emergency Medicine, Head Corporate Medical Service and Organising Chairman of the Conference, Dr. Mahadevan, HOD of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Arthi, Assistant professor and organising secretory of the conference, Dr. Saravaakumar National Secretory and Dr. Ramkumar Tamilnadu state President of Society for Emergency Medicine India had felicitated the inauguration by lighting the lamp. Almost all the delegates who attended the programme have a positive feedback that there is no doubt that this workshop and conference would definitely improve quality of Emergency care to the community at with a large impact.
