SRM Medical College Hospital and Research centre as per the Competency based curriculum under foundation course introduced yoga training for Ist Year MBBS students. The training started from 10th of June 2022 for 10 days in collaboration with the Yoga Center SRM Institute of Science and Technology.
The training concluded on 21of June 2022 on the international Yoga day. A common protocol were followed as per the NMC norms in training all 250 1st MBBS undergraduate students.
Fifty students of the First year MBBS students were selected by office of the Governor to display their talent at Raj Bhavan on 21st of June 2022 on the occasion of International Yoga day.
SRM Institute of science and Technology also celebrated the International Yoga day and the 6 students from SRM Medical College were awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medal for their excellent performance during the training.
