The World ORS Day event held on 29th July 2022, the event was organized by the Department of Pediatrics, headed by Dr. Subash.S along with the Indian academy of pediatrics, Chengalpattu branch to create awareness about Diarrhea and Oral rehydration solution(ORS). Dr. Sundaram A, Dean, SRM Medical College Hospital and Research Centre Felicitated the event. Faculties, Staff nurse, nursing students, Post graduates and CRRIs from the department of pediatrics took part in the event.
Posters were displayed in the pediatric outpatient department, Demonstration of ORS Reconstitution was done, parents were educated about the importance of ORS and 2022 ORS theme :Jodi No 1 – ORS and Zinc
